These prices are effective October 10, 2017 and are subject to change without notice.

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire.

However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead.

If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask

for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

 

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR & STAFF................... $ 695.00_____

This fee for our basic services and operating expenses will be added to the total cost of the arrangements you select. This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremation and immediate burial.

 

THIS INCLUDES:

Basic overhead for providing mandated licenses, maintaining

• Specific facilities, taxes, insurance, etc.

• Funeral Directors on call 24 hours a day

• Service personnel available 24 hours a day to respond to requests for assistance

• Arrangement Conference

• Securing and completing all required legal documents and permits

• Retaining a permanent funeral record

• Contacts with newspapers, clergy, cemetery and others

• Filing with Social Security, Insurance Companies, Veteran Services

• Coordination, direction and assistance in all funeral related areas.

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain arrangements such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Colorado law requires the deceased be embalmed or refrigerated if the final disposition will not be within 24 hours following death. It is the policy of our firm to require

uninterrupted refrigeration while in our care.

We have no charge for the first 72 hours of refrigeration (3 Day's), which in most

cases is adequate. Thereafter, the fee is 25.00 per day. ______-_________=___________

Payment of services and merchandise must be secured at the time of the arrangement.

Final Identification of the Deceased

Cremation is an irreversible process. Where there is human involvement, there will always be the potential for human error. This can apply to hospital, coroner, and mortuary staffs. To be safe and sure, for your peace of mind and ours, we suggest a positive identification of the deceased before cremation. In our memorial service and direct cremation option there is no embalming and only a very limited time that the

deceased may be transferred out of refrigeration and identified (refrigeration or embalming are required by state law 24 hours after death –CRS 12-54-111).

 

So that the deceased remains in an essentially refrigerated state, we respectfully request that the identification be for no more than 30 minutes from the time we agree to begin. In the interest of full disclosure while minimizing movement of the deceased, the identification occurs in the container that will shelter the deceased prior to cremation and will be later consumed in the cremation process. We will also dress the deceased in any clothing provided.

There is a $195.00 charge for the identification viewing at the crematory facility (staff time). If you decline the identification, please allow at least 48 hours before the cremation process begins.
